Ingredients
For the glaze
- 1 cup Raven’s Nest blackberry jalapeño jam
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon pepper
For the dates
- 8 ounces goat cheese
- ¼ cup whipped cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon honey
- ½ pound traditional bacon, sliced in half
- 2 cups pitted dates
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare a parchment-lined baking sheet and set aside.
- Make the glaze: In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, combine blackberry jalapeño jam, honey, and pepper. Stir consistently for 5 to 7 minutes, or until a smooth glaze has formed. Set aside.
- Make the dates: In a small bowl, add goat cheese, whipped cream cheese, and honey. Using a hand mixer, mix until well combined and fluffy. Add mixture to a piping bag and pipe cheese into each date. Wrap each date with a half slice of bacon, and secure with a toothpick. Using a pastry brush, generously coat each date with glaze and place on prepared baking sheet. (Discard remaining glaze.) Bake for 20 minutes and allow to cool before serving.
