Founded by Robin and Glenn Allen in South Hill, Virginia, Birdie’s Pimento Cheese puts a curious twist on a beloved Southern tradition. What began with three flavors and a one-day farmers market experiment in 2014 quickly became something more when Robin and Glenn sold all 30 tubs they brought to the market.

Inspired by the pimento cheese Robin grew up enjoying as an after-school snack, Birdie’s combines familiar Southern flavor with creative ingredients and unexpected combinations. After the success of their first farmers market, Robin and Glenn sold the printing business they had operated together for 25 years and began making Virginia pimento cheese full-time.

Today, Birdie’s Pimento Cheese can be found in specialty retailers across the country. From traditional Classic to Jalapeño, Garlic Parmesan, Smoked Gouda & Roasted Red Pepper, and Cream Cheese & Black Pepper, each flavor offers its own curious twist on tradition.
