For your next game day, enjoy Birdie's Pimento Cheese Sausage Balls for a portable, tasty tailgate snack.
Ingredients
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
- 1/3 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1-8 ounce tub Birdie’s Jalapeño Pimento Cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine sausage, Bisquick, shredded cheese, Birdie’s jalapeño pimento cheese, and garlic powder. Use your hands or a sturdy spoon to mix until thoroughly combined. If mixture feels too dry or crumbly, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water to help bind it together.
Roll mixture into 1½-inch balls and place them evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 22 to 25 minutes, or until sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Tailgate Tips
To make ahead, form sausage balls and freeze on a baking sheet. Once frozen, transfer to a zip-top freezer bag. Bake directly from frozen by adding 5 minutes to baking time. Reheat leftovers in oven or air fryer until warmed through.
